Can I have the Transaction Coordinator Write the contract?
No, the transaction coordinator is not a licensed real estate agent, so they will not be allowed to do so ( even if a TC is a licensed agent, their duties would be that of a non-licensed agent while working as a transaction coordinator) The TC manages essential administrative tasks, including organizing and facilitating document requests from the agent. They do not originate documents
Can a Notary guide me on how to fill out a document?
No, Notaries are NOT attorneys or lawyers and can NOT offer advise or guidance on how to fill out documents. If assistance is needed we recommend speaking to an attorney or lawyer.
What is a Remote online notary?
A Remote Online Notary—RON— is a notary that is able to notarize online using e-signatures. A webcam and microphone is required, as well as a way to send/upload the document that needs to be notarized.
Do all states allow remote online notarizations?
No, while most states do allow RON’s — Remote Online Notarization— there are still a few that do not such as; Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas. Laws are always changing, so some states maybe added or removed from the list, double check your state laws for the up-to-date information.
